Booking is the jail intake event after arrest or court commitment. A detainer or hold is a request or authority from another agency to keep or receive custody. "Sent DOC" means the person is tied to a Missouri Department of Corrections sentence or transfer path, not that the county roster remains the long-term state-prison search tool.

Joplin City Jail is a separate municipal jail for Joplin and Duquesne custody. The Sen. Ron Richard Juvenile Center is a juvenile-court facility, not an adult inmate roster source.

Jasper County Visitation Records
The detention center uses video visitation only. The sheriff states that on-site video visits are free to the public and inmates, and that inmates receive one 15-minute visit on their visitation day. Remote video visits are handled through CIDnet. The sheriff's materials list daily remote hours from 7:00 AM to 12:00 AM, subject to availability, and a 15-minute limit. Email, texting, and picture mail are also available through the jail communication system, but pictures must be approved before viewing.
State Federal ICE Records
The county roster covers people in or tied to Jasper County jail custody.
